Media Movie Going for Part 2

‘Rangam,’ the Tamil to Telugu dubbed version of super hit ‘KO’ has been a super duper hit in both the languages. Most importantly, the film has laid strong foundation for young hero Jiiva and slender heroine Karthika in Telugu. Subject of the film pivoted around media and political circles of South. Thankfully, the commercial scripting and talented direction of KV Anand took the film to new high despite knowing that entire concept was copied from a Hollywood film.

After a gap of nearly five years, ‘Rangam’ is getting a sequel in Tamil titled as ‘Ko 2’ to be produced on RS infotainment banner. While Bobby Simha and Nikki Galrani are playing the male leads, the only exception from first part to second is the presence Prakash Raj in interesting character.

Sarath Mandava is the director while Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment is producing the project on high budget. Still it is unknown on whether there will be the same media and political aspect in the concept or picking anything new? Hope that, ‘Ko 2’ enjoys a parallel release in Telugu with Tamil.
