Trivikram Wasted Money There

The reason why Trivikram Srinivas is taking the severe beating from buyers and those financially linked with ‘S/O Sathya Murthy’ is the over budget spent on film. As per industry sources, Trivikram juiced the producers with an investment of nearly Rs.52 Crores and above for a family drama flick with medium dose of action. This is too high for any producer to recover despite having a winning combination at hand.

When tried to dig deep on why such high production cost, it is heard that Trivikram wanted his team to be populated with big artists like Prakashraj, Rao Ramesh, Kota, Upendra, Nithya Menon, Adah Sharma etc. Well, selection of such artists isn’t a mistake but without offering them worthwhile characterizations and needed screen space has become a crime on the part of film.     

Critics and enlightened audience are especially pointing the finger at Trivikram in this regard. What is the use of such magnificent star cast when majority of them failed to create an impact? Artists do matter but only when there is necessary depth into narration.
