Why Upendra, When There is Jagapathi

After watching the role of Upendra in yesterday released ‘S/O Sathya Murthy,’ many film enthusiasts are taken to a question on where is Jagapathi Babu and what is he doing? Yes, more than Upendra many would have thought of JB as best option for the same character. In order to give a new flavor to a beaten characterization, Trivikram seems to have picked a new artist in the form of Upendra. That’s not a bad idea indeed.

Anyways, many senior heroes are turning into supporting artists off late. Jagapathi Babu has been an evergreen family hero with minimum guarantee films in 90s. Later on, his stardom faded so quickly running into financial doldrums too. Then did he realize the importance to become a supporting or say side hero of sorts to make a strong impression in films like ‘Legend, Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham’ etc.

Few days ago, we have also seen JB at his daughter’s wedding and from then on, there are no big updates from his side. Apparently, he is doing ‘Pandaga Chesko, Srimanthudu’ and ‘Hithudu.’
