Jagapathi Babu Sacrifice as 'Manishi'

‘O Manishi Katha’ is one more new movie from Jagapathi Babu released yesterday in theatres. When there are biggies like ‘PK’ and ‘Chandrakala’ arriving in screens around the same time, obviously the attention of public towards this low budget flick will be minor and same happened. ‘O Manishi Katha’ is a tale of common man running a Dhaba having seen the shocking incident of his wife (Kalyani) being raped and murdered by his own friend. There is a little of revenge and more of sacrificing attitude in Jagapathi Babu’s character who not only forgives his friend but also saves his wife from another rape. In turn JB also punishes them and goes to jail.

Well, ‘O Manishi Katha’ hasn’t got any great reviews as director Radha Krishna Avula’s inexperience was seen throughout. JB and Kalyani ran away with amazing chemistry which isn’t enough for a BO success.
