Ravi Babu Maintains Distance

Director Ravi Babu films are adored a lot by one particular set of audience who always wait for new releases. This time, Ravi Babu’s latest offering is in the form of ‘Avunu 2,’ a sequel to super hit horror film ‘Avunu’ produced by Suresh Babu. First in series is a runaway hit with Poorna, Harshavardhan Rane in main leads. The film was made on a tight budget within the premises of a gated community secured huge profits for traders. Taking some gap, Ravi Babu prepared a strong script with more of horror moments in ‘Avunu 2’ which was actually scheduled for release by end of this year.

However, latest update says that Ravi Babu does not want ‘Avunu 2’ to coincide its release with a row of horror films which have hit screens in this month. Movies like ‘Life after Death, The End’ and ‘Panchamukhi’ are few to name. As ‘Avunu 2’ is qualitatively a superior product to all of these, Ravi Babu requested Suresh Babu to manage a big gap and they are planning ‘Avunu 2’ for February, 2015 release.
