Collections Restricting Creativity

Bollywood Super Star Aamir Khan has spoken really valuable words during the promotions of his new movie ‘PK’ releasing very soon. The film from superb combination of Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Raj Kumar Hirani, Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma is the most awaited flick by entire Nation. However, the subject of interest here is Aamir took a satirical attack on BO collection figures of our Indian films. Hundred, Two Hundred, Three Hundred and Four Hundred Crores clubs have become common benchmarks to gauge the BO potentiality of star heroes.

‘Do not fool yourself. We need to stop floating these figures. Collections restrict the creativity. There should be a third party like Rentrak to present original BO reports like what we see in English films,’ Aamir said. At the same time, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra is hiring the services of Rentrak so that there will be no boasting of fake numbers for ‘PK.’
