Veena Malik Life in Trouble

Legal procedures in Pakistan are stringent and strong than what they are in India. This is the opinion heard in some places ever since Veena Malik is sentenced to 26 years of imprisonment by a Pakistan court. Into the details, Pakistan Geo TV owner Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman is accused of airing a blasphemous programme playing a religious song while performing a mock marriage of Veena Malik with husband Bashir.

Various cases were filed across Pakistan on this programme leading to serious action. Judge Shahbaz Khan sentenced Veena Malik, Bashir, host Shaista Wahidi and Rahman for 26 years jail term imposing 1.3 Million Pakistani rupees fine. If they fail to pay the fine, court should sieze their properties to raise the fine. However, Judge gave a chance for the convicts to appeal in regional high court of Gilgit-Baltistan.
