'Current Theega' Is Really Unlucky

The unlikely friction between Manchu family movies and Censor Board Officer Dhanalakshmi has been discussed on various platforms. Even Mohan Babu, RGV and others expressed anger on Dhanalakshmi’s unfair principles in issuing the Censor Certificate. While none could move her from seat, finally she is recently transferred to some other State providing relief to Telugu producers.

Manchu Manoj and his ‘Current Theega’ awarded with A certificate was one of the last movies Dhanalakshmi examined. If Manchu Vishnu and his production company of 24 Frames would have waited a bit, they might have got a chance to exhibit the film before a new Board Officer. Earlier, Manoj faced similar problems with Dhanalakshmi during ‘Mr Nokia’ certification. Manoj is hoping that new Board Officer would bring a change in the process.
