Gopichand Checkmates Two Stars

This is not an easy task to tackle with star heroes like Mahesh Babu and Ramcharan when both of them are attacking the BO in a minimum gap. However, hero Gopichand and producer Ananda Prasad accepted the challenge to combat both of them with ‘Loukyam’ taking on Mahesh’s ‘Aagadu’ and Charan’s ‘Govindudu Andari Vaadele.’ While star heroes have bit the dust, struggling hero Gopichand secured a safe hit with ‘Loukyam.’

If ‘Aagadu’ was declared as a disaster on the very release day, ‘GAV’ was swinging in mid-life. In contrast, ‘Loukyam’ traveled very smooth at BO from the release date. Increase in ‘Loukyam’ theaters count in this third week clearly shows that Gopi has checkmated both Mahesh and Charan with one move. One must have to accept a statement here. Stardom and past track record helps only in openings. A long run is possible only and only if public accepts the movie.
