A new good film into the market, the old stuff will be bailed out as obsolete. Same might happen for Mahesh Babu’s ‘Aagadu’ which is opened to weak response. The film which got staggering openings could not stand up to the hype is slowly disappearing from many theaters. At this juncture, entry of Gopichand’s ‘Loukyam’ in theaters yesterday to unique positive response is likely to hit the fortunes of ‘Aagadu’ so badly.
As per trade analysts, ‘Loukyam’ offered enough entertainment in exactly those areas where ‘Aagadu’ missed. Director Sriwass has very well used Brahmanandam, Chandra Mohan and others to ripe the fun. Family audience who love Mahesh Babu may still select ‘Loukyam’ as a right pick for weekend because of non-stop entertainment. If such thing really happens, Gopichand should be seen as a nick checkmate to Mahesh Babu business.
