The first and best complaints raised by critics after watching Raviteja’s ‘Power’ are, won’t we have any new stories or won’t our writers cannot think of new concepts? Yes, debutant director KS Ravindra (Bobby) being a successful story writer, least audience expect from him is a pinch of new zing in story. Unfortunately, Bobby struck to a cocktail of olden hits from Raviteja and other heroes making ‘Power’ a mix masala film of ‘Vikramarkudu, Don Seenu, Kick, Munna’ etc.
Not just restricted to ‘Power,’ even the last week release of Junior NTR ‘Rabhasa’ fallen into the same category of cocktails. Thankfully, audiences have given a right thumping defeat for the film. Well, it is too early to estimate the BO span of ‘Power’ but at the same time a couple of rejections from Telugu audience must help writers to open their eyes else our so called mass star heroes are becoming dummies with these stories. God should save TFI.
