'Manam' is a Chaitu Movie

Although ‘Manam’ is declared unanimously as best movie in recent times with subtle performance from Nagarjuna and superb presence of Late ANR yet many of the audience are surprised with the way Naga Chaitanya has approached towards his character. In fact, Chaitu did not enjoy big limelight after ‘Tadakha’ and critics aren’t ready to acknowledge him as a perfect hero because he did not prove anything substantially from performance point of view.

‘Manam’ is all set to elevate Chaitu as a true performer. Thanks to his extremely praiseworthy chemistry with Samanta which has done the trick. Nevertheless, look at the confidence of Nag and director Vikram Kumar who opened the film on Chaitu’s 1983 episodes that gave a much needed flow direction for the movie. Later on Chaitu’s rebirth with trade mark rom-com acts are treated wonderfully. In one line, this is the re-birth for Naga Chaitanya as an actor. Way to go Young Man.
