JB Pulled It from Sudeep

Versatile actor Jagapathi Babu has bagged the prestigious role of playing a key villain character in Rajinikanth’s new movie of ‘Lingaa’ in direction of KS Ravi Kumar, produced by Rockline Venkatesh. More important is that a random gossip started to take on web that Kannada Star Hero Sudeep of ‘Eega’ fame was the first option set in by KS and Rajini for the role but due to non availability of call sheets from Sudeep’s end they have replaced with Jagapathi Babu.

However, the version of Sudeep is different. He says that never an offer was flown to his end regarding ‘Lingaa’ although Rockline Venkatesh is his close friend. Who will take a chance of missing the opportunity of acting besides Rajinikanth and that too for ‘Lingaa.’ In the past, Rajini called on Telugu artist Suman for Shankar’s ‘Shivaji’ which was a roaring hit and now JB has come lucky.
