Rana follows Ramcharan not Nagachaitanya.

The most awaited debut of this year is “Leader” from Rana Naidu. Although there was great enthusiasm for even Naga Chaitanya’s debut this year but Rana and Shekhar Kammula seems to be following the steps of Ram Charan and Puri Jagannath when coming to publicity point of view.

Strictly speaking there can’t be any comparison aptly between the two movies, as “Chirutha” was a full fledged mass movie with all commercial elements from  a pucca commercial director rather “Leader” is altogether a movie with purpose and message from a director who always relied on story and message.

The random similarity between the two heroes is that of in the publicity. Ram Charan’s face was totally hided before the release of the movie. May it be on posters or trailers Ram Charan’s face was never revealed as far as “Chirutha” is concerned, while the same looks to be applicable to Rana whose face is never revealed in the trailers which are running with enthusiasm  in the TV’s and theatres.

The word of oath taken by MLA’s during their joining of duties is given as background score for these trailers and looks promising coming to the expectations. Let us wait for few more days to know whether this “Leader” will lead the young race of tollywood heroes as done by “Chirutha” boy “Magadheera”.
