Sekhar Kammula Speaks on 'Anamika'

Known as a slow film maker who spends lot of time in scripting and other pre production works, Sekhar Kammula is also familiar for perfect and professional approach towards any subject given. Taking a big contrast from his kind of stories and making, Kammula is presently giving the final touch ups to ‘Anamika,’ a remake to Bollywood super hit film ‘Kahaani’ starring Vidya Balan in central character. ‘Anamika’ has Nayanathara reprising the Vidya’s pregnant character. 

According to the inner sources, Sekhar Kammula and producers are planning for the release of movie on February 28 both in Telugu and Tamil versions. Trailer of ‘Anamika’ was launched a while ago by Sekhar who also promised that many changes are made to south version relative to Hindi version. Though basic theme remains the same, it’s the strong nativity factor which worked wonders for ‘Kahaani’ and the Hyderabad backdrop also looked apt in the trailer. The movie is co-produced by Endemol India, Logline Productions and Select Media Holdings. Wish that, Sekhar will as usual give his best shot at BO.
