When Stars Aren't Cared For!

Stars, top celebrities or legendary personalities who have done great works for the Telugu film industry aren’t properly respected, what is the purpose of attending or organizing such events. This is the question raised by many after watching the utter failure Indian Cinema Centenary Celebrations in Chennai where in Telugu cinema hasn’t got the share of credit and identity needed. With none of the star celebrities having got the personal invitation except a SMS, they have decided to completely boycott the celebration.

Major personalities who missed the function are Dasari Narayana Rao, Chiranjeevi, Super Star Krishna, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Junior NTR, Vijaya Nirmala, Kodanda Rami Reddy, Adi Seshagiri Rao etc. Even from those like Katragadda Murari, R Narayana Murthy, Krishnam Raju and others who graced the occasion, they took the exit door in midway unable to bear the disrespect. We also knew how veteran actress Kavitha broke down before media for not receiving any invitation for the function. Entire blame was placed on one man C Kalyan who made Tollywood feel ashamed of these flop festival arrangements.
