'Gabbar Singh' Behind 'Ramayya'

The root to birth of ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’ project lies in the post-production works of ‘Gabbar Singh.’ It is revealed in a surprising fashion by Dil Raju chanting the name of ‘Gabbar Singh’ more than 10 to 15 times on the audio launch stage of ‘Ramayya Vastavayya.’ Luckily, Fans weren’t invited to the function which saved the day for Dil Raju else we very well know what would happen when someone takes the names of Mega Heroes or their movies on a Nandamuri occasion. 

‘I grew very close to Harish Shankar during the post production of ‘Gabbar Singh.’ I was involved very closely in making that film as a biggest blockbuster not only as a Nizam distributor but also involving in post production. Before the release of ‘Gabbar Singh,’ I took a word from Harish Shankar to direct a project on our banner. But, directors generally change after enjoying the commercial success. After delivering such a huge hit of ‘Gabbar Singh,’ our director Harish Shankar did not change and he personally met NTR before revealing about this project,’ Dil Raju said. 

So, ‘Gabbar Singh’ is the movie behind close association of Dil Raju-Harish Shankar and also the evolving of ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’ project.
