Creative Veteran Director Disappoints

Entire Indian Cinema Community has immense respect towards most creative and variety director Singeetam Srinivas Rao. He strives to offer something innovative and new for audience. Resultantly, Singeetam has become a most trusted brand from whom we can expect only multiplicity of subjects. Into the same genre is yesterday released ‘Welcome Obama’ made on the emotions of a biological mother versus surrogate mother.

The line was definitely experimental up to the standards of Singeetam heavily inspired from Malayalam film ‘Mala Aai Vhhaychy’ but when it came to execution, the screenplay lost hold and comedy tracks became painful. Critics are unhesitant and bashing ‘Welcome Obama’ with very poor ratings. For a director of such stature, this is a poor flick which doesn’t mingle into his masterpiece works.
