Director Chandu’s immaturity in handling the script and making style of ‘Prema Oka Maikam’ is brutally massacred by reviewers. More than Chandu, both audience and critics have questioned Charmi on how come she can accept such a film even after 12 to 13 years of experience in film industry. That is her ill fate but the character of call girl portrayed by Charmi definitely had some positive points to note down from the kind of research done by director Chandu.    

The way Charmi asks her pimps to send the photo of customers before accepting the one night deal or the way she says ‘No Tips After The Business’ are noteworthy. Though Charmi gave her best both in songs and some sequences, when the script was hollow and director himself was more than notched, we cannot expect any good output. However, Charmi showcased the modus operandi of modern day prostitution.
