Declared Hit 11 Days After Release

Delayed by 11 days after the international release, Tamil Super Star Vijay’s new movie ‘Thalaivaa’ is received to superb crowds in Tamil Nadu from 20th of this month. Actually, the movie was to release world wide on August 9th but due to some politically hidden security reasons, it was pushed indefinitely till the clearances were obtained by Police forced for 20th release. 

Reports say that despite having piracy prints placed online, crowds thronged to many theatres in Tamil Nadu to welcome ‘Thalaivaa.’ In these first two days every where although being working days houseful collections are recorded. While the Telugu version of ‘Anna’ is received to sparse response, producers are happy at least to see ‘Thalaivaa’ declared as a hit nearly 11 days after the actual scheduled released. However, Vijay’s dream to establish strong market in Telugu is missed by a whisker due to lack of entertainment and slow narration in ‘Anna.’
