'Chennai Express' Smashed All Records

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s non-stop entertainer ‘Chennai Express’ has smashed all the top records of Indian Box Office by collecting Rs.100 Crores in a matter of just three and half days. Like every time, overseas audience made major portion of revenues (of course we are speaking 100 Crores exclusive overseas) and thanks to the concept of screening special premieres one day before in major cities helped the movie to get positive work of mouth talk on day one.

Along with the paid previews and best first Sunday earning Rs.32.50 Cr, total collections till now reached Rs.100.35 Crores alone at Indian Box Office. ‘Chennai Express’ is fourth 100 Crore film for Shah Rukh Khan and speediest ever for entering into the prestigious club. Before this, it was Salman Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ made 100 Crores in six days.
