This song dates back to the evolution of Kadiri town and ancient Narasimha Swamy Temple. Pilgrims flowing down to this center used to chant the song of ‘Kaatama Raayudaa Kadiri Narasimhudaa…Betrayi Saami Devudaa.’ This was a history dating back to 10th Century AD and only few people who are exposed to folk art forms will be able to have the knowledge.
