Tamil hero Becomes Telugu Brother

One film of ‘Tupaki’ gave a lease of new life for hero Vijay in Tollywood. In fact, the Murugadoss directorial was a super duper hit in Tamil and raked nearly 100 Crores but could not fare on par with Kollywood standards in Tollywodo yet it had a good share. This gave confidence for Vijay to secure a bit of his own share in Telugu market because Rajinikanth, Suriya and Karthi are enjoying the good openings here.

With high craze in recent times, Vijay’s new flick of ‘Thalaivaa’ is releasing in Tamil Nadu in next few days. Directed by AL Vijay with Amala Paul as heroine, the first teaser got tremendous response on Youtube. This seems to have made Kasi Vishwanatham of Lakshmi Narasimha Visuals to bet on Telugu version dubbed as ‘Anna - Born to Lead’ set for a grand release on August 9th. With ‘Atharintiki Daaredi’ coming on August 7th, the competition will be pretty tight.
