Chiru's Bigger Honour than Cannes, 25 Years Ago

While reporting Megastar and Union Minister Chiranjeevi's Cannes Film Festival's visit, a top Telugu TV news channel said, Chiranjeevi has got such a rare opportunity, that he could not get it as an actor. Hearing the report of the news reader, the senior most fans of Chiranjeevi started laughing out loud. 

According to them, in the year 1988, i.e. exactly 25 years ago, Chiranjeevi got a rare honour of being one of the Indian representatives of Oscar Film Awards Ceremony held in the USA. Till then, none of the tollywood icons had got such a rare honour. " If you feel Oscar Film Awards Ceremony gets better status than Cannes Film Festival, definitely Chiranjeevi got bigger honour than Cannes, 25 years ago." says a mega fan.
