After directing top hits like ‘Kokila, Keechurallu’ and ‘Priyathama,’ the name of Geetha Krishna is popular in South film circles. He even had a recent flick titled ‘Coffee Bar’ is now set for directing a Rs.150 Crore project ‘My Country India Time Capsule,’ a docu-feature film on India and our cultural heritage, natural resources. As a part of this film, Geetha Krishna will travel across India to shoot the history, culture, political and resources in each state.
Then a properly edited version will be put for sale in the form of 9 CDs pack at the price of Rs.9, 999 to recover their production cost. This is a new experiment and if the project really happens in near future, it will be the costliest documentary ever made in World cinema. In fact, Geetha Krishna is a History graduate from Madras Christian College and he wanted to take this film as a useful product for academicians.
