Secret behind success of any movie is a collective team effort yet Director is considered as captain of the ship. After the generations of Dasari Narayana Rao and K. Raghavendra Rao, there was a period when Heroes ruled the industry. Now, good times are back and Directors are becoming more dominating than Heroes. While SS Rajamouli is the pioneer in re-creation of this trend, now a days even Srinu Vytla is also on the same path.

While movies like 'Magadheera' are credited majorly into the account of Rajamouli, yesterday's release of 'Baadshah' rated as a sequel to 'Dookudu' is also marked for Srinu Vytla's brand entertainment oriented treatment. While, heroism of NTR is also a big plus yet it is comedy sequences shot on MS Narayana and Brahmanandam which are the real essence of 'Baadshah.' When heroes and their roles become minimal important (except helping in opening collections) in deciding the overall fate of a movie...that is what we call a New Trend.
