'Shadow' is Not High Budget Film

Taking the last disaster of Meher Ramesh in the name of 'Shakti,' media has been outrageous on the high budget invested by makers on 'Shadow.' As the movie is set for release on April 11 as Ugadi gift, hero Venkatesh is here to clear all the myths regarding the film. Right from selection of Meher for the project till the budget issues, Venky replied in detail.

'I never look into the past record of my director before selecting. All I ask for is just dedication and hard work. Meher Ramesh has it in him and I agreed for 'Shadow.' I am not playing any Mafia don in the film. This is a revenge action drama with stylish treatment. Like what you say, this project as high budgeted, it is not all true. Budget for 'Shadow' is almost the same as my earlier films. So, this is perfectly a medium budgeted venture for producers. Due to some quality production standards, there was a slight increase in the overall budget,' Venkatesh said.
