'Eega' Bags 2 National Awards

The 60th National Awards were announced by the jury chairpersons on 18th March, 2013. Ace director SS Rajamouli's graphics entertainer, 'Eega' was conferred two awards, 'The Best Regional Film' and "Best Special Effects". It's a proud moment for Telugu cinema  for bagging two prestigious awards at national level. Rajamouli must be appreciated for his outstanding directorial skills of this movie. The list of other awards announced by the committee are as follows.

* BEST FILM:  PAAN SINGH TOMAR( HINDI)

* BEST ACTOR: IRFAN KHAN ( PAAN SINGH TOMAR), VIKRAM GOKHALE ( ANUMATHI-MARATHI)

* BEST ACTRESS:  USHA JADAV ( DAAG- MARATHI)

* BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR: ANNOO KAPOOR ( VICKY DONOR)

* BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS: AHLU WALIA ( VICKY DONOR) 

* BEST DIRECTOR: SIVAJI LOTHAN PATIL ( PAAN SINGH TOMAL)

* BEST SINGER: SHANKAR MAHADEVAN ( CHITTAGANG)

* BEST MUSIC DIRECTOR: SAILENDER BARWE ( SAMHITHA-MARATHI)
