Lady Producer on Heroine Skin Show

Skin show in Item Songs are a must. Now, the time has come for Priyanka Chopra to ensure that her professional decisions will have to be socially responsible. For the first time, the actress shot for a item song titled as 'Babli Badmaash' for the movie of 'Shootout at Wadala.' 

Piggy ensured that song has carried no titillating moves or vulgar lyrics. In terms of costumes, Priyanka Chopra personally took interest in styling so that there was no skin-show. Producer Ekta Kapoor says, 'Priyanka was particular about her appearance. She was involved in any way she could be. Our idea was to come up with a song that even children can enjoy. 'Babli Badmaash' has a sexual undertone but we made sure that it isn’t crass still maintaining the naughtiness. Priyanka, along with costume designer Manish Malhotra and director Sanjay Gupta racked their heads and it was then when Sanjay finally suggested that Priyanka look could be influenced by Amitabh Bachchan's retro style (from his hit song in Yaarana, 1981).'
