Anr's 'Bangaru Babu' Complets 40 Years

Padma Vibhushan, Dada Saheb Falke Award Winner, Dr.Akkineni Nageswara Rao's blockbuster movie 'Bangaru Babu' was released on 15th March, 1973 and completed 40 years of its release on 15th of March, 2013. Then number one heroine Vanisri paired up with Anr in this family entertainer. Almost all the movies of Anr and Jagapathi Arts banner's combo were proved to be the super hits in those days. 

KV Maha Devan gave bumper hit songs such as, 'Chengaavi rangu cheera', 'Egirindayyo egirindee pyragaali', ''Edadugula Sambandham', 'Sri Ramachandraa Naaraayanaa', 'Ayyayyo Bangadu Babu' etc. The first helicopter fight in Telugu movies was shot in this movie. Bollywood Superstar Rajesh Khanna, Superstar Krishna and Shobhan Babu were seen in cameo appearances in this film. VB Rajendra Prasad directed and produced the movie.
