Comedy Calculations on Sunil

Comedy hero Sunil is no more a small hero from the view point of producers and distributors. While audience are showing equal interest to see him in both hero and side actor roles, Sunil is more inclined to settle only as a hero rejecting many characters. However, Megaa Super Good Movies banner seems to have completely over-estimated the market volume of Sunil. The new film of 'Mr. Pellikoduku' which is released with high publicity in nearly 60+ screens alone in Hyderabad has proved to be a fatal move.

Generally, a new release from Sunil will record housefulls atleast on day one. But, 'Mr. Pellikoduku' did not receive any such collections because of high theatre count. Booking counters even in best centers like Ameerpet, Moosapet were found to be half occupied with sparse turn-outs. Never to mention the response in multiplexes where numbers are very low due to effect of 'Attacks of 26/11.' Overall, this is a definite disappointing opening for Sunil due to wrong and comedy calculations from producers and distributors.
