The character of friendly villain portrayed by Ajmal Ameer in Ramcharan's 'Rachcha' has brought him close to Telugu audience. In fact, 'Rangam' of Jiiva was the first film where in Ameer's talent has come to the fore. Now, this versatile artist will be entering into comedy line as veteran director Vamsy has picked Ameer as hero for his prestigious 25th film. No surprises that Vamsi is a household name in Telugu families and the peculiar Konaseema flavor in his movies will instantly grab the audience.

Ameer is present today in Hyderabad on the official muhurat of Vamsi's 25th movie which is yet to be titled. This first outing of Ameer as hero in Tollywood will have five heroines to romance whose names will also be announced very soon. As usual Vamsi has picked Chaki as the music director.
