2012 is Year of this Aunty

Although we have seen plenty of Bollywood films ruling the roost in India and overseas market minitng crores and crores of money rewriting the records, one movie which has got no big male protagonist fared above all our expectation levels to welcome the beautiful aunty back on big screen. The movie is 'English Vinglish' with Sreedevi in lead was directed by Gowri. Alone Sreedevi shouldered the entire project proving that she has the best re-debut compared to Karishma Kapoor, Madhuri Dikshit and other contemporaries.

'I accepted 'English Vinglish' because the character suits my age and sensibility. We never thought that it would become a cult film. I never worry about huge collections made by any of my films because my job is only to understand my role and act,' Sreedevi shows her modesty.
