Kamal Hasan Controversy on Delhi Rape

Entire Nation is dropping heads down for the kind of respect we are offering to women in present day society. It is high time that government has to pass some strict laws and enforce them in order to make India a safe place to live. After the gang rape of a paramedical student in a city bus of New Delhi at 9 PM four days ago, the situation is not the same. Protests have become intense alover the country forcing the PM and President to punish criminals.

Meanwhile, Kamal Hasan has reacted differently to the context expressing his views against the awarding of death penalty to rapists. He said, 'the girl raped is my sister and the criminal is brother. I am ashamed of these happenings and I support teeth to teeth punishment for the guilty. However, killing the criminal with a prompt judgment of death penalty is not the right solution. Dealing a crime with one more crime (death penalty) is not right.' 

Well, there might be only few who agree with Kamal's views.
