Salman Khan landed in trouble when Chandigarh High Court issued summons to him and his sister Alvira in Being Human fraud case.The Court issued summons based on the complaint by Chandigarh based businessman Arun Gupta who has alleged that he was induced into opening a Being Human jewelry showroom in Manimajra on false assurances.The court asked all the parties to file their responses to the allegations made and also directed them to appear before it on 5 October 2026. Arun Gupta alleged that he suffered losses after investing Rs 3crs to set up showroom &nbsp;after entering into an agreement with Style and Content Jewelry Pvt Ltd, the company licensed to market Being Human jewelry. The series comes with 7 episodes and each episode has the duration of 25-35 minutes. Many gripping courtroom dramas like Amitabh Bachchan's Pink and its remake Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab came. He drew inspiration from them and tried to tell them in a realistic way.The narration starts in an interesting manner and the director does well balancing both sides of the views. The first three episodes keep the interest levels intact, but when one expects it to reach the next level with intense courtroom arguments, the director loses steam.From then on everything turns repetitive, testing the patience of the viewers. The slow pace of the narration ends up irritating the people. Dialogues turnout to be pretty ordinary. The expected emotions and drama in the courtroom arguments goes missing completely. Even the character arcs are not created properly after the initial introduction. The series and the narration lacked the required twists and turns.The first four episodes are predictable and offer no real twists. The fifth episode had a small twist but it did not excite anyone. The entry of Sameera only generates little interest. Many characters and their relations are not established properly and also there are many illogical scenes and convenient episodes.The background score of Anil Chiluvuru is good. However the cinematography of Suryaa and editing of Kishore turned out to be below average. He starts the narration revealing the importance of Kaamakhya Sakthi Peetham in Guwahati but the introduction of other characters slowed the pace of the film.The narration picks of pace in a slow and steady manner and it reaches peaks once the characters of Abhirami and others are introduced. But once again the Samuthirakhani character puts off all initially with the weak role. The second half screenplay turns out to be racy and director decided to concentrate on main plot rather than spend time on unnecessary comedy scenes. The twists and the climax take the film to the next level.Kushender Ramesh Reddy with his cinematography added value to the narration. He with his camera angles got the desired impact on the screen. Gyaani's background music elevated the scenes and ensured the narration sails smoothly maintaining the same tempo. The editing of Sree Varaprasad is ok but could have been better as there are many scenes that slowed the pace of the narration. At times, he expressed through his eyes.Trinadh Varma played the role of the youngster who gets sandwiched between his own parents and that of his quarrelling parents and how he acts in pressure and frustration. Gowtham Pandit in the role of his friend is good and both helped the narration to carry forward.Shelly Kumar played the role of the mother to perfection. She got realistic and hard hitting dialogues and she came up with natural and realistic expressions and emotions. Ravi Varma did well in the role of the father who once lived a royal life before suffering losses.Neha Pathan played an important role and she did full justice to it. The screenplay is racy and with twists coming now and then, the first half turns out to be a decent watch.This set the tone for the interesting second half. While many expected the investigation to take off to new heights, the director Karna concentrated on highlighting the emotions and this impacted the pace of the narration. The screenplay went for the toss and this put off the viewers disconnecting them completely.To the top of it, the uneven pace, convoluted screenplay and investigation detailing instead of showing in action, concluding in dialogues, turned out to be a huge disappointment. What started as a thrilling ride turned out to be a bumpy ride in the end.The cinematography of Veda Vyas Gottipati showed the scenes in a natural and impactful manner. He used the camera angles and color combinations to maximum impact to show night scenes in an effective and realistic way. Anil Palasa's editing turned out to be a mixed bag. His editing is tight for most of the first half but he lost focus in the second half including many unnecessary and repetitive scenes.The background music of Sinjith Yerramilli created a good impact and elevated the scenes to the next level taking viewers into the narration keeping the interest levels intact. After a point of time, people look towards the exit door for respite. Even the entry of Mohan Babu doesn't improve the narration and add value to the proceedings.The music tuned GV Prakash Kumar tuned offered nothing new. The second half continues in the similar manner and the core soul and emotion of Bhagawanth Kesari's Beti Ko Sher Banao goes for a toss. The pre climax and climax turns out to be childish with video game like elements. One gets a feeling that even video games or TV serials have better graphics.Anirudh Ravichander is known for his impactful works and he tuned the music and composed BGM for the film. However it turned out to be extremely disappointing as the songs failed to entertain and also not shot in an appealing manner. His background music failed to make any impact. He couldn't be blamed as the narration did not give him chance to do so. The editing of Pradeep Raghav turned out to be miserable. There are many scenes that tested the patience of the viewers. This resulted in the film turning out into a half baked one. Even the elevation scenes failed to make an impact and Vinoth shockingly killed the soul of the original. He failed completely with his story, screenplay and direction. The so called changes he made to the original instead of adding value, diluted the essence of the film and the message it intended to give to the society. Jana Nayakudu is touted to be the farewell film for Vijay but it turned out to be a failed farewell. He deserved better rather than this crap. The convenient screenplay results in various characters appearing and disappearing as per the whims and fancies ot the director. The story offers nothing new and it is dragged completely with the pre decided runtime. To the top of it,the lead character not undergoing any transformation for almost 90% of the film tests the patience of the viewers.Director spent most of the time, highlighting the relationship between the lead character and his uncle and the girls in his life and in turn misses the emotional connection completely.The cinematography of Manoj Paramahansa showed the scenes in a natural and appealing manner. He performed well as a middle class husband and father and came up with realistic and natural performance. He decided to thrill the views with money heist story. The story revolves around robberies and scams. He managed to excite all with the thrilling elements with the scenes before and after the robberies. He highlighted how the opinions of people and middle class family changes in the backdrop of money heist.Interest levels increase with the starting scene of the bank robbery which takes viewers into the story. However later the introduction of characters slowed the pace of the narration. But the twists and turns involving the lead character and others and the negative shades increases the curiosity levels. The police investigation and others in the first half brings and end setting the tone for the exciting second half.However, the second half goes for a toss with the hero kidnap scene and various sub plots. While the first half is natural, the second half had shades of artificiality and illogical scenes. Couple of scenes in the second half turns it into a decent one.Ramess' Editing could have been far better as there are many scenes that slowed the pace of the film especially in the second half. Cinematography showed the scenes in a natural and realistic manner and Dinesh Purushottaman followed the standard template and took viewers into the story. JakesBejoy's background score is in sync with the story and he managed to keep the scenes the intensity levels intact. He starts the narration in an exciting manner but the flashback episodes dip the intensity levels with routine and monotonous romantic scenes and revenge plots.The entire first half offers nothing new but predictable commercial plot elements and scenes. The hero's elevations and the rest of the characters revolving around him just seems to be inspired from other hit commercial films. The entire first half turns out to be outdated to the core and viewers will be expecting a better second half at the interval.The second half starts with a couple of twists and generates interest. However, the missing emotions and the weak characterizations marred the intensity and impact power. The pre climax and climax turns out to be ok with the so-called twists. Dialogues are just average.Thaman's tunes for the songs are just ok. None of them get registered in the minds of the viewers except for the song VaareVaa VaareVaa. Many songs appear to abruptly impact the pace of the narration. There are many scenes and viewers will be left wondering what's going on and where the story is heading and when the first half ends, it comes as a breather for the people.The narration and pace picks up a little bit in the second half though the story progresses no where. The climax twist comes as a relief. Even after the twist, the proceedings are dragged before the film ends making viewers heave a sigh of relief.Smaran Sai's music offered nothing much to rave about. The tunes are not catchy and are not even shot on an appealing manner. However, he made up for it, with his captivating background score. It elevated the mood of the story and proceedings.The cinematography of Karthik Parmar used the colour combinations, grading and camera angles to show the period backdrop in a natural and realistic way.Venkat Maha who handled the editing failed in this aspect. The story offered nothing new as many films came in the recent past highlighting the power of God and how ultimately he eliminates the evil forces who try to wreak havoc to posses the supreme powers.Films like Mirai and Hanuman turned out to be hits and of late many filmmakers are trying to milk people's interest in Sanatana Dharma and the secrets with dialogues pertaining to them but most of them are failing in their mission. If mythological and elements on God in a story comes naturally then it will connect chords with the people. However, all the so called Sanatana elements are forced and this ends up testing the patience of the viewers.Nagabandham also fell in the second category unfortunately. There is no clarity how the hero became the protector of the all powerful Brahma Kamalam right from the first half. The film lacked the drive and direction and it drifted in various directions and the screenplay turned out to be topsy turvy. Emotions play a key role in the films and the film lacked them completely. Only when emotions are strong and realistic, natural, it will help in taking forward the drama or action sequences.With emotions missing , the scenes come and go one after another and viewers are left wondering what was happening. The extreme violence in the marriage looked totally unnecessary and unwanted except for the gory scenes which the director felt would have made an impact on the viewers emotionally.Though the first half had no story, visuals are extravagant and the interval bang covered all the loopholes setting the stage for the second half. However the second half turned out to be extremely slow and all the characters turned unnecessarily loud shouting at the top of their voices. Director included family scenes revolving around children but none of them created an impact. The flashback episode lacked clarity and it is also filled with mindless violence.The climax action episode itself came to more than 30 minutes and the story revolved around it but none of them connected chords with the viewers. Everything goes with loud shouts and intense and senseless action. On top of it, they gave immense torture with irrelevant dialogues on Sanatana Dharma.The background score tuned by Junaid Kumar elevated the scenes to the next level creating the maximum impact. However, at times it turned loud and routine. The cinematography of Soundar Rajan S is top class. The VFX and CGI are of top class most of the time, except in few scenes where they looked pale and substandard.Junaid Kumar - Abhe's songs acted as speed breaks to the narration. Except for the Namo song, others failed to impress and some songs came with in 2-3 minutes gap. Editing left a lot to be desired, especially in the second half. Nagabandham Review

Vedam is being directed by the super talented movie maker Krish. The film has stylish star Allu Arjun, variety hero Manchu Manoj and the awesome beauty Anushka in the lead roles. Now the director has roped in the pretty lady, Catherine. She plays a rock star in the film.
The lady says she did not have movies in her mind. She adds that this opportunity has thrilled her and would give it a try. She plans to take up acting seriously if this film works out. For now, the shooting has been going on briskly without making much noise and most of it is being kept under wraps.
