Brahmin organisations seek Mohan Babu's apology

Several Brahmin organisations on Saturday demanded that the cine-actor Mohan Babu tender an unconditional apology for producing the controversial Telugu film "Denikaina Ready" which portrayed the Brahmin community in poor light.

Addressing a press conference at Basheerbagh Press Club here, Stree Raksha Samithi members Somalata Sarma and Neelam Devi and All India Brahimn Sangham president Rahul Deshpande informed that they have already served legal notices to Mohan Babu and others connected with the film seeking unconditional apology. They said that the movie not only hurt the sentiments of Brahmins, but also the Muslim community. Demanding that the State Government ban the film and arrest Mohan Babu and others for producing the film, they announced that they would boycott all the films produced and acted by Mohan Babu and his sons.
