“Ghatikudu” fails to impress

There was a lot of hype for Suriya starrer “Ghatikudu”. However the movie seems to have failed to impress the audience in Andhra, though in Tamil it has been declared a hit. It is not new to see the hype the movie generated since it was being marketed by Sun TV and everyone is aware of the aggression with which the channel promotes its movies. Though the movie was a complete package of comedy, sentiments, action, romance et al, it still missed proper narration.

The biggest let down seems to be the climax which had no impact. Another disappointment was Nayantara who does not look the same bombshell she used to be. Though the movie might impress some front benchers, it is expected to be an average grosser which is a bid let down considering it is a Suriya-KS Ravikumar venture.
