SSR's 'Makkhi' Failed in B-Wood

Perhaps, the ace director Ss Rajamouli pinned lot of hopes on the success of 'Makkhi', the dubbed version of the super hit movie 'Eega'. Unfortunately, the movie had to face huge losses. As per the trade sources, the movie has collected around Rs. 50 lakhs each for the first two days and on the third day of its release, the movie collected just Rs. 20 lakhs in entire North India. Overall, the movie is expected to collect Rs. 3 crores including satellite rights for its Hindi version. However, the amount invested for 'Makkhi' is around Rs. 7 crores which include prints and publicity and the total loss of the film would be around Rs. 4 crores. 

Dusky beauty Samantha, Nani and Sudeep are the leading star cast of the movie. MM Keeravani has scored the music of this film. The movie has been produced under the banner Vaarahi Creations.
