How Producers rely on Nag & Venky?

Along with Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna, the next two top positions among the veteran heroes should go for Nagarjuna and Venkatesh. Ever since there is sudden flow of young talents into industry, the commercial face of Tollywood is rewritten. Any film with less than 40 Crores of revenue isn’t even considered as a success. Or for that matter like 100 Crores for Bollywood, we have fixed 50 Crores as a benchmark for a genuine Telugu blockbuster.

Amidst such high risk business, producers R. Venkat and Paruchuri Kireeti spending above Rs.35 Crores of budget on Nagarjuna and Venkatesh are shocking the trade analysts. Although both these heroes are rated as top yet never did they have a history of breaching 40 Crore mark. Current projects ‘Damarukam’ and ‘Shadow’ are the ones which we are speaking about. Both being highly anticipated projects budgetary wise, let us wait and see what made these makers rely on the two veterans.
