No Movies for Telangana March

Entire Tollywood will come to a stand still for tomorrow on the occasion of Telangana March to be conducted by Telangana Political Joint Action Committee on Necklace road from 3PM to 7PM. Earlier in the day ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’ director N. Shankar on behalf of Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce requested the industry people to maintain a Bandh to shootings and all kinds of production, post production works as a sign of expressing solidarity to the March.

However, by evening the information reached all the sections of cinema people and theatre managements in entire Telangana are also to keep the halls closed for tomorrow. This might be a big loss to industry but Shankar says that Telangana artists and technicians who are looked down in Seemandhra dominated film industry will get their livelihood only if a new state is carved.
