On one side, the trade analysts have started to close the commercial run of ‘Shirdi Sai.’ Even distributors in few areas are worried on attaining the breakeven mark which has still become an impossible task. Although critics have given few positive reviews due to Star image of Nagarjuna, still the film is doing no wonders at BO and is on the verge of disappearing from majority of screens in one more week.
Hero Naga Chaitanya at the audio launch of ‘Damarukam’ has rightly said, ‘my father promised me to show his commercial stamina after the release of ‘Shirdi Sai.’ I think ‘Damarukam’ is going to make his words true.’ Of course, the subject and line is clear. ‘Shirdi Sai’ is meant more for professional satisfaction and ‘Damarukam’ for commercial satisfaction.
