She is 'Kollywood Saina Nehwal'

Ever since Saina Nehwal, the badminton player from Andhra Pradesh won the medal in London Olympics, it looks like media started concentrating much on the achievements of women in domestic circuits of this game. Now, we hear that actress Shalini (‘Sakhi’ fame), wife of Tamil Star Hero Ajith is making remarkable progress in Shuttle Badminton Game by bagging second place in Tamil Nadu State Level Championship Competitions. 

As a token of love towards wife Shalini, husband Ajith presented a badminton court as gift. Not now, from some tome back Shalini is referred as Kollywood Saina Nehwal and the actress turned sport star is planning to take part in National level events in coming days. She said good bye to acting in films very soon after marriage with Ajith. 

Actually Shalini reached the finals of mixed doubles and straight women doubles State Level championships held at Nagercoil but she faced the defeat in both games satisfying with second prize.
