Now, 'Palakollu' goes to Kollywood

Don’t be confused. ‘Palakollu’ here refers to the name of Dasari Narayana Rao’s character in the film ‘Mestri.’ This Telugu movie released long ago in 2009 has now made in roads into Kollywood hitting the screens there as a dubbed version with the same title. Perhaps, only few in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh knew that there was even a Tamil version of this Award winning film is getting screened.

No one can against the trend. For that matter even Dasari who always preaches to groom our local talents without encouraging the import of Tamil or Bollywood talents has to see a release of his dubbed film. Nevertheless, Dasari also won 2010 Best Actor Nandi Award for his superb performance in ‘Mestri.’ It is worth mentioning that there were few dialogues in the movie targeted on Chiranjeevi that became popular.
