'Shirdi Sai' overtakes Socio Fantasy

‘Shirdi Sai’ from Nagarjuna is however confirmed for release in September and makers are expecting a big response for their efforts. Seeing Nagarjuna in the attire of Sai Baba with a devotional feel infused will be definitely a memorable experience for Telugu audience. However, the trade and talk of ‘Shirdi Sai’ has overtaken the one more Nagarjuna flick in making that is ‘Damarukam.’ While ‘Love Story’ and ‘Shirdi Sai’ are the front runners in Nagarjuna’s future releases list, RR Makers who invested above Rs.30 Crores on socio fantasy ‘Damarukam’ are sitting silent without announcing an update.

Some sources in Film Nagar are anticipating the complete closure of ‘Damarukam’ project because of over-budget and inability of director Srinivas Reddy in offering the required grandeur for a high budget project. If at all, there are chances of ‘Damarukam’ release then it could be only after ‘Shirdi Sai’ and ‘Love Story.’
