Blind Hero to Stun us Again

Vikram is the other name for versatility in South cinema arena. Every project he picks up will have something or the other in specialty. Without innovativeness in either script or characterization, there is now ay a director can please Vikram. His upcoming action film ‘Thandavam’ surprisingly will have Vikram seen again in a Blind Man role performing huge action stunts.     

Perhaps, Vikram earlier played the blond role in ‘Kaadi’ of 2001, a Tamil film which later released in Telugu as a remake ‘Seenu Vasanti Lakshmi’ by RP Patnaik. When Vikram is questioned on how can he repeat the same character, “Yes, I play a blind man in ‘Thandavam’ with human echolocations. This method is used by blind people to detect the objects in environment using auditory clues or what we call the reflection of sounds. Through sound waves, some blind men sense the objects. This is quite different from what I’ve done. I ensure that everything will be different and of course, I can play the role of a blind person at least five times where I can show the difference each time,’ said Vikram ready to stun us with ‘Thandavam’ which also stars Jagapathi Babu and Anushka in the direction of Vijay of ‘Nanna’ fame.
