Ace director S.S.Rajamouli's 'Eega' is doing well in all the areas wherever, it was released. The movie is doing good business in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka as well. Having inspired with the movie's initial talk, the makers were thought of to release the Hindi version of 'Eega' in 3D format. However, as per the latest reports, it is understood that they reportedly dropped the idea of changing the movie to 3D format. But why?
Here goes the reason. As far as graphics oriented movies are concerned, bollywood had seen bitter experiences with the previous graphic oriented movies. Although, many English movies like 'Jurassic Park', 'Titanic' etc. did extremely good business in bollywood, the story is different for computer graphics movies made by the Indians. South Indian top director Shankar's 'Indian' and 'Robo' couldn't do well in bollywood. Shahrukh Khan's 'Raavan' turned out to be a disaster at the bollywood box office.
Having seen the above results, the makers of 'Eega' reportedly decided to release the 2D version of the movie in Hindi. However, it is interesting to see whether this movie works out well at bollywood box office or not.
