Whenever directors or heroes tend to create a new trend or change the existing ones, obviously they will face a bit of inertia. But, change has to be initiated by some one and should be continued by others. In the current period, we have seen two such people and two such projects which are literally out-of-box and both have got positive reactions from critics and a section of public.

Yes, one of them is Balakrishna’s ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ in the direction of veteran Bapu. Movie was a magnum opus which gave fruitful results at BO collecting a good and un-disappointing figure. The grown up confidence levels in Balayya with this mythology subject has resulted in his further experimentation with historical 99th and 100th flicks. In the same league, ‘Eega’ released last Friday has garnered a wonderful response and Rajamouli should be appreciated. This is in fact a decent indication for changing tastes of Telugu audience. However, we should also agree that the transition process Tollywood is undergoing is on slower side.
