Dasari gives New Basis for Records

Whatever the Records or Crores of collections which Telugu Audience and Critics are discussing in today’s trend is considered useless when compared with the levels of Public acceptance given for yester-generation and yester-year Telugu films. These Rs.50 or 100 Crores mark do not find any balance with rare achievements or milestones crossed by of our ever green classics.

May it be ‘Lava Kusa’ and ‘Dana Veer Sura Karna’ which ran for more than a year or ‘Osey Ramulamma’ which collected above Rs.20 Crores when the ticket price for upper class was a mere Rs.25. Dasari Narayana Rao has given a new basis for calculating the industry records and here it goes. 

‘How shameful it will be to speak about current day records? Is there a film which is bigger hit than ‘Premabhishekam?’ We have not even gone for Ooty to shoot the songs of this movie. If ‘Osey Ramulamma’ collection of Rs.22.5 Crores is inflated to present ticket prices and monetary standards, it will cross Rs.220 Crores. So, please don’t debate about records, discuss about the quality offered in movies,’ Dasari has blown at all those Top 1,2,3,4 and 5 industry hits.
