Film might be new and technology used for making this film might be a stat of art but Rajamouli says that ‘Eega’ is a simple revenge subject which was thought of as a funny concept 15 years ago. ‘My dad mentioned this concept as a joke 15 years ago. Then, I’ve just forgotten about it until we thought of bringing the same on big canvas. I am so proud that such an old idea is finally made into a film in front of my eyes,’ Rajamouli said. Film is all set for a magnanimous release on July 6th in four languages.
‘Making of ‘Eega’ is thoroughly enjoyed but at the same time, this is testing of time for everyone. Each day, we would see a low end 3D video of our story board and then shoot the scene. On the editing table, rerecording was done with simple grey scale animation. Finally, today we see the big jigsaw puzzle falling in place. We are planning for a 3D version in Hindi and even release a shorter version for international audience because the subject is universally appealing and major part of the film is without dialogues,’ Rajamouli revealed.
