'Sakuni' overtakes 'David Billa'

Despite both of them being the dubbing releases, ‘Sakuni’ starring Karthi and ‘David Billa’ of Ajith are fighting out in middle in T-town. Truth is that, ‘David Billa’ a prequel to past hit ‘Billa’ is made on a very lavish budget with superb visuals. Yet, Ajith who does not have big market in Telugu coming as ‘David Billa’ to be released by Shobha Rani of Wide Angle Creations failed to do good pre-release business while the five movies old Karthi’s ‘Sakuni’ planned for big release by Bellamkonda Suresh is doing wonderfully.

Trade sources say that, Bellamkonda used all his expertise and business sense to cash upon Karthi’s image by doing an audio launch separately in Telugu. Contrary to this, ‘David Billa’ has suffered major set back with large number of censor cuts recommended before issuing the ‘A’ certificate. ‘Sakuni’ is arriving in theatres on 22nd while 29th happens to be the date for ‘David Billa.’
